New Year's 2004 in New York : December 2004 trip to New York...my first. We celebrated New Year's eve @ Graham's friend Emily's apartment in mid-town Manhattan, then went out to a club where Paul van Dyk was spinning. We left late the next day for Graham's parents' house in Connecticut, then on to Killington, VT for some (icy) skiing and hot tubbing.

Audi S4 : After buying my first S4 in July 2002, I joined the Audi club and went to my first (race)track event at Portland International Speedway that fall. The miles added up (74k total on the car) and I decided that it was time to sell. I purchased another 2001 S4 in May '04 from a friend in the Audi club. The "new" car (white instead of imola yellow, which I loved) is significantly faster, with a new ECU chip, turbo bypass valves, TBB, coilover suspension, Porsche 911-sized "Stoptech" brakes, exhaust, 18" wheels and tires. It all adds up to about 300hp and 375lb-ft of torque and means the car is just as fast as the new (2005) S4 which has 60% more displacement. (4.2L vs 2.7L) I love it!
