Honeymoon in Mexico - Our Resort : We flew south to Cancun the morning after the wedding (asleep @ 12:30am, up at 4:45am) and took a van to our resort, the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum. It's an all-inclusive resort, so we tried sitting on the beach, tropical drinks, sailing, snorkeling, and eating at the fancy a la carte restaurants on-site. All in all, a fabulous honeymoon!

Honeymoon in Mexico - Mayan Village : Day 5 of our stay saw us hop into a private van for an adventure tour. We drove to a Mayan village, rode the zip line, rappeled into a cave where we did some swimming, (cenote, actually) and had a Mayan shaman bless our tour group in a traditional ceremony. We then drove on to Coba and climbed the highest pyramid on the Yucatan peninsula. More info: http://www.alltournative.com/tours-products/maya-encounter

Olive, our new dog! : We looked all over the state (literally) for the right dog for us. In the end, we found Olive, a 16 month old female black lab from a breeder in Quincy, WA (2 hrs east of Seattle) in mid-February. She's a GREAT dog, very calm but still affectionnate and energetic when she's running around outside. She's a good size (55lbs) and settling in with us in the house, having spent all of her time up to this point outside running around with her brothers and sisters :)
